Configure the virtual wiring to be identical to the following image.

In this example, COM17 will be the LOGGER side and COM18 will be the RHR-Helper side.

Setting up N1MM (or other logger) via COM1 with RemoteRig

Setting up a logger for rig control when using a RemoteRIg (RRC) should be the same concept as when using a radio locally.

1. Connect a USB to serial adapter or a DB9 to DB9 cable from COM1 on the front of the RRC to your local PC where the logging software is running.

2. Configure your logging software to use the serial device that is connected to COM1 on the RRC with a baud rate of 9600.

This should be all you need to get simply rig control/VFO tracking working with your logger.
